Although this website was made primarily to help you deal with a yeast infection while pregnant, it’s also important to go over how to prevent yeast infections in the first place.  If you want to minimize the number of times you get flare ups, make sure you put these tips to work in your life, they will work for you so long as you work it into your routine:

1.     Remain Dry, Down There

One way how to prevent yeast infections is by making sure that you don’t develop any dampness in your underpants.  When you get out of the shower, make sure you thoroughly dry off before putting on your underwear, if you’re not careful, things could get damp down there after sitting for a while and yeast LOVE damp places.

2.     Just Don’t Wear Underwear

If you want to avoid that mess altogether, just forget about wearing underwear, it’s even better!  There will be more airflow there and thus it will be less likely for yeast to develop.  Of course you can’t always do this, but if you can, go for it.

3.     Don’t Eat Sugar

Ya, this is a tough one, but it is very effective.  You see, yeast love sugar, they feed on it.  If you totally cut out sugar from your diet, you will basically starve the yeast and cause a great deal of it to die off.  If you can stand it, refrain from all sugar and replace it with sugar substitutes.  Try this out for at least a week before you judge it’s effectiveness (that week will be one LONG week!).

So if you wanted to learn how to prevent yeast infections, there are a couple of tips to start you off.  If however you’re looking to get rid of a yeast infection you have once and for all, it’s critical you find a treatment that kills off the yeast spores, that’s something few are able to do and is why yeast infections keep on coming back.  Click here to discover a solution that eliminates yeast spores.
